Video Diaries

Using digitalized photos from your pregnancy, labour, birth, and/or of your newborn, and set to music, we will create a video focused on this special day in your life. You will receive a VHS copy as well as a copy in the QuickTime format which you can send to family and friends through email. This is a great way to share only the photos that you choose with those who couldn’t be there.

Although your doula will take as many pictures as she can of your labour, we highly recommend that you consider having another person there just to take photos. Even if you don’t want that person in the room for the birth, they can take photos both before and after the birth, and you will still end up with many wonderful photos for your video diary! This will be a special keepsake for your child to watch as he or she grows older.

Please contact us if you would like to view a sample of one of the births we have set to video. You will need an email account large enough to accept a file 2.8 MB large. This birth video is completely G-rated—there is no nudity involved, so it can be viewed by anyone.

*Please note: This service is offered exclusively to our birth doula clients. We cannot accommodate requests for videos from births or other events that we have not attended!
